Hello everyone! During reading other peoples blogs http://daintydollymix.blogspot.com  and http://thedollymixdiaries.blogspot.com I found a very interesting tag about MAC. I've been into MAC for 2 years now and it seem a good idea to share my thoughts and favourite items with you :)

Let's get go!

How long have you been using Mac?

I bought my first Mac products in July 2008.

What was you first MAC products?

The addiction started with the famous shadestick in the color “Sharkskin”, but once in the store I also bought the lipstick “Cyber” lip pencil “Currant” and 2 MES “Polar Opposite” and “Danger zone”.

What's your all time favourite product?

Lip conditioner SPF 15 I use it every single day J.

What's your least favourite MAC product?

 Prep & Prime Eye; because it doesn’t work for me.

Do you own a PRO card?

I have a Student card J.

What's your MAC foundation shade?

Between NC20 and NC30.

What's your favourite MAC foundation?

Studio Moisture Tint spf15.

What's your favourite eyeshadow?

“Vellum”.

What's your favourite lipstick?

“Viva Glam 6”.

What's your favourite liner?

Chromagraphic Pencil in the colour  NW25/NC30

Because it is for multi-usages.

What's your favourite Nail Lacquer?

“Style clan”.

What's your favourite PRO product?

Set Powder in the colour “Invisible”.

Comment on the following Mac products; Have you used them? If so, give feedback.

Prep + Prime Skin:

I have a bottle but doesn’t use it that much . Only if my make-up have to stay on all day long.

Full coverage Foundation, Studio Fix Fluid, Studio Tech Foundation, Studio Fix Powder,

 Minerlize Satin Finish, Hyper Real foundation, Studio Stick and Hyper Real Pressed Foundation:

I haven't tried any of these foundations so i can't comment on them.

Select SPF15 Foundation:

That was my first Mac foundation.

Face and Body Foundation:

I have 4 different shades and the white one. I use them I have to do make up on other people because it’s easy to mix them.

Studio Sculpt Foundation

I bought this foundation (NW 20) instead of the studio moisture tint SPF15 and use it if I want just a little bit more coverage as the moisture tint.

Minerlise Skin Finish Natural
I absolutely love the MSFN, in winter to set my FDT and in summer I use it on is own.

Studio Sculpt Concealer:

I haven't used this concealer but i have heard good things about it.

Select Cover Up Concealer:

These ones were in my Mac students kit and they are buildable and you can mix the colours.

Select Moisture Cover Concealer:

Love this one use it almost every day with a 217.

Studio Finish Concealer:

I bought 3 shade of them but use them just ones or twice.

 Loose Blot Powder:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Pressed Blot Powder:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Beauty Powder:

Have 5 of them but my love goes to “Briar Rose” from the Venomous Villians Collection. That’s the only one with a good color pay off.

Sculpting Powder and Shaping Powder:

I have the Sculpting powder from the Dsquared² collection and I like it.

Minerlize Skin Finish:

I have a few and the winner is “Blonde”

Bronzing Powder:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Powder Blush

My favorites are “Strada” (Discontinued) is perfect for contouring and my number 2 is “the perfect cheek “  and I hope that Mac will repromote it because mine broke during depoting L

Blushcreme:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Minerlize Blush:

I just have one “Conjure up” very pigmented, but don’t use it very often because it isn’t in my blush pallet.

 

Gel Blush:

Never heard about it.

Cream Colour Base:

I have a few but my love goes to “Luna” I use it for highlighting.

Lip Erase:

I have one from the Dsquared² collection, but doesn’t like it because it dries my lips out. But will keep it maybe to use on a photo-shoot.

Tinted Lip Conditioner:

J LOVE LOVE LOVE thse products J

Lipstick:

My favourite finishes are Lustre,Satin and Amplified. They have a very good colour pay off, and if you want more glitter and bling use a sparkly lipglass on top.

Lipglass:

Really like Mac’s lipglasses. So many different colours to choose. And the sponge applicator is so nice and easy to use.

Dazzleglass:

They’re nice, but I found it way to expensive for the amount of product you’re getting.

Cremesheen Glass:

I only have one “Boy Bait” but it’s nice and naturel.

Plushglass:

I love the feeling and the smell but I always get an allergic reaction after ½ hour so I can’t use them and it make me very sad L.

Lip Gelee:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Lip Pencil:

“Dervish” is my exactly lip colour so I can use with a lot of lipsticks and lipglosses

Nail Lacquer:

I just got 3 one and I just bought them for their exceptional colour, but in my opinion their application is sometimes difficult.

Shadestick:

I have a few shadesticks and  use them as an eyeshadow base. But I always need an eye primer underneath

Paint:

For me they must come back I prefer them over the shadesticks because they are a lot creamier to apply.

Paint Pots:

Same use as shadesticks and paints.

Eyeshadow:

I love MAC's eyeshadows because of the variety  of colours and finishes.

My favorite finishes  are matte and duo chrome.

Pigment:

Love pigments but have to use them more often.

Glitter:

Only for special occasions, I would say.

Eye Kohl:

 Have 2 out my students kit but never tried one yet.

Chromaline:

I haven't got it in my collection yet.

Fluidline:

“Blitz & Glitz”,” Macroviolet” and “Dipdown” are my favorites for lining the eye.

Little tip; storage them up site down to prevent dehydration.

False Lashes:

I only tried the half ones and I like them.

ProLash Mascara,Zoom Lash Mascara,Plush Lash Mascara, Dazzle Lash Mascara:

I use “Studio fix lash and “plush lash” on a daily base.

What has been your favourite MAC collection to date?

Baroque Boudoir, Winter 2009. I love the packaging so much!

Which MAC collection in your opinion was disappointing?

I don’t know. I look and read many reviews before I go buy the LE stuff. So mostly I already know what to expect. Sometimes I don’t like the packaging but that’s all.

My make up story

Just want to say hello on my first entry ;) 

It seemed a good idea to start with a few tags that goes around on YT and other blogs  at the moment. 

I think that's a nice way to learn a little bit more about someone.
So let's get started.... 

My make-up story

How old were you when you started wearing make-up?

It must been around the age of 14 that I started to use mascara and a black kohl pencil. I also used a very light frosty lipstick originally it was the lipstick my mother wore on her wedding day

How did you get into make-up?

Not so long ago (in Spring of 2008) I discovered “Panacea81” and “MissChievous” on YT. Due to MissChievous I learned about Specktra.net and I got inspired there by all the lovely people.

What are some of your favourite brands?

For the high end products it must be Mac, simply because I never tried anything else. And for drug store lines I prefer Catrice and Essence.

What does make-up mean to you?

Some kind of Art and a way of expressing your feelings.

If you could only wear 4 products on your face what would they be?

       Tinted moisturiser 

       Mascara

       Very dark brown eye shadow (so you can use it for the eye brows and as an eye liner)

       Lip conditioner

What is your favourite thing about make-up?

With a few things you can change someone's look or expression completely.

 

What do you think about drug store make-up and high end?

I love them and I’m very happy that I have the chance to try them

What is one tip of advice you can give to a beginner?

Practice, practice, practice and never give up.

What is one make-up trend you never understood?

Every trend is there for a reason and it’s your own choice if you want to follow it.

What do you think about the beauty community on You Tube?

It’s a good way to find information about products and to communicate with people with the same interests.
